The distance between clusters is much bigger than the one between islands in the same cluster. The distance is calculated as shown above, with the turn time being around 2-3 or 4-5 in-game days. When sailing between island clusters, the ocean behavior will be rougher with bigger waves, stronger winds and scarier storms.
